No, it's not funny. I think it's depressing. They don't even know how big an influence they are, or were to you. Would they even understand? They just go on with their lives as your acquaintance, stranger, a former friend. They don't know that you admire them, or you miss them, or you tried to capture their personality, style and essence in an outfit you once wore. And I mean that as uncreepy as possible.
How does that one quote go? 'If people were rain, I was a drizzle, and she was a hurricane.' Sigh.."
